Robert Yates set up Brampton Willows in 1985, specialising in the design and creation of bespoke willow products for the garden. These products range from continuous willow fencing woven on site in-situ, through to furniture, planters and hanging baskets and one-off commissions for large garden structures, such as follies and summerhouses.

All of the firm’s products are built to last and incorporate a steel frame for structural strength within the willow work.

Fencing…
Brampton Willows’ fencing is very tightly woven and finished off with its own unique ‘border’ at the top of the fence. It is particularly effective on undulating ground, around corners and up hills as it follows the ground’s contours in one unbroken run. Strong and durable, this continuous willow fencing makes the most superb wind break and gives excellent protection to young plants and gardens in coastal or exposed sites.

...Furniture and Follies
Furniture from Brampton Willows has the advantage of looking equally at home inside, for example in the conservatory, or outside. The furniture may be finished with details such as steel ball feet on the chairs and tables, and integral armrests on the porter’s chairs. The larger structures (summerhouses and follies) can also be woven with integral seating.

Brampton Willows has 15 acres of willow beds providing sufficient willow for its needs throughout the year. The firm will be exhibiting at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May 2001.
